“She knows” new music video

The new music video “She knows” features the talented voice and songwriting of Anne Christine Wold. The video has no actually script or manus.
It’s made by Mohavi himself, consisting of video clips from different projects.
For instance footage from the originally “the making of the album” was used and also handheld footage from an iPhone and outtakes from “Give me the gun”.

The video is directed and edited by Mohavi and much enjoyable!
“She knows” is taken from the album “Man and Machine” by Mohavi and is the third video release!

I just want to say thank you to everybody who has listened, liked, enjoyed, steamed and bought music from my new album! For me, the response has been very warming and I thank you everybody from the deep inner of my heart.
Even though it would have been very nice to see the album at the top of the charts, I am gratefull to all who cares about my music and have listened.
“Man and Machine” has not been made in order to reach the top of the charts, but the music has been made to spread joy and happiness to the right people, ind a world who suffers enough and in a world, where life can be a bitch.

The release have already iniatiated other projects, and I am now currently working with new songs for a new project, with a DJ and a talented singer (you already know!). That’s very nice and makes me exited.

The album release will be followed by more videos, which already have been recorded and now are in the phase of editing. Also a new single is soon to come!
So again, thank you.

THE DEBUT ALBUM FROM ELECTRONIC COWBOY MOHAVI IS HERE

Finally it’s here: The album “Man and Machine” has been released

Filled with uplifting music, retro-like guitar sounds, futuristic electronica and windy western landscapes. Also you can experience surf guitars, robot voices and beautiful female voices on the debut album from Mohavi.

The music of Mohavi unfolds in a cross between Americana, Kitsch and Electronica and is clearly heard inspired by both David Lynch as Morricones movie music, classic Kraftwerk, techno and modern club music, which include due Mohavis unique application of an original vocoder, a Roland VP-300 from 1979.

The energetic musician has with the album created his own ballgame and style, which has been called “cowboy-techno” of the inner circle. The sound is retro, quirky and dusty. It is highly danceable music in a unique blend. The album also contains a few quieter numbers and here impresses Anne Christine Wold with her sensitive voice that convincingly slides into the guitarist great techno landscapes.

Mohavi has been in the Danish music scene for many years, but now makes his debut as a solo artist under the new name. Both as a producer and artist, he has left his strong mark on the entire process. Besides playing almost all instruments Mohavi has even directed and edited music videos and created artwork, graphics and visual design for the site and covers.

In short Mohavi is a musician and sound wizard, creating new music and new sounds.
He also creates and direct his own videos. The base is Copenhagen, Denmark.

Even though he has been nominated for a Danish Grammy as a producer the upcoming album “Man and Machine” is the debut for Mohavi as an solo artist.

The Mohavi-style is modern – in a retro way, combining various elements from electronica, techno, surf, rock and Italian westerns from the seventies.

I live in the musical city of Copenhagen and started as a musician, playing rock guitar as a teenager. Later I became a session musican and have played a lot of venues and festivals in Denmark.

Later I got involved in the glorious art of producing and have contributed to nearly 80 releases (singles/albums) as a musician, producer and remixer.
I was nominated for a Grammy (Danish Music Award) together with one of my musical partners, DJ Henrik Hjarnoe.

Our project “Nagano All Stars” (also with DJ Lars Freisig) have sold worldwide, “Push It to the limit” exceeds the sale in over 1 million copies and my music is still played all over the world.

Together with DJ Hjarnø (Jox) I’ve done a lot of remixes, including artists like Sarah Brightman, Gloria Estefan, Bob Marley og many Danish acts f.i. Safri, Duo, Infernal, Carpark North and Natural Born Hippies.

The new sound of Mohavi is a lot different from the things above.
It’s my personal vision in sound and music and I hope you enjoy it!
